Who: Kids who could benefit from building motor coordination, sensory regulation, confidence, or social-emotional skills in a supportive outdoor environment, led by an occupational therapist and 2-3 adult assistants. (Approximate 1:3 ratio of adults to kids; 10 children max.)
What: Applying the ConTiGO approach (Connection & Transformation in the Great Outdoors), Rooted Day Camp will offer therapeutic and playful activities to build your child's connection with peers and transform your child's motor and social development by teaching new skills through intensive OT in the great outdoors. We'll do group games, nature exploration, tree climbing, fort building, scavenger hunts, messy play, open-ended creative activities, and free play!
When: June 16-18 + 20// 9am-2pm - for 4-6 year olds $500
June 23-26 // 9am-2pm - for 7-10 year olds $500
July 7-10 // 9am-2pm - for 4-6 year olds $500
July 14-17 // 9am-2pm - for 7-10 year olds $500

This OT day camp cost depends on the dates selected and ages of the campers - Rooted is filled with a variety of activity types! Please see above for cost, dates and enrollment age.

Rooted will take place during various out-of-school days throughout the year at McDowell Nature Preserve. Refer to the schedule above to see the dates and times for specific campers!
